Even though it's a little worse for wear, this vintage Victorian storybook cover is still beautiful and would make for a lovely image for a gardening themed project you're planning. This gorgeous vintage image of a cute little girl was just too incredible not to rescue. It decorated the front of a vintage advertising card that had lots of damage, hence the awkward border. This piece of clip art comes from an 1879 Victorian Scrapbook. However, it still makes for a lovely piece of clip art. And, isn't that bonnet something special?!

Taken from an antique seed catalog, these illustrations show the before and remarkable after of landscaping. It's magically amazing the difference a few, well-placed plants and trees will make to a piece of property! I'm sold!

Isn't this a stunner?! I found this incredible, antique illustration of a peach in an antique seed catalog. This particular peach is called, Stump the World. Hmmm. That's a very strange name, unless it was meant to describe it's deliciousness and beauty.

I've provided two versions for you. Unfortunately, part of the image ran off the page in the original, so in the second image, I've erased the leaves that were affected. But, regardless of a few missing leaves, it's still an incredibly gorgeous fruit clip art. Enjoy!

Free Fruit Clip Art: Free Raspberry Clip Art from Antique Seed Catalog

This clip art of raspberries, known as Japanese Wineberry, is a real beauty! This fruit clip art was taken from an 1870's antique seed catalog. The colors are gorgeous, making them look good enough to eat.

I was able to restore a beautiful decorative frame from this seed catalog, which is stunning as well.

Vintage Black and White Illustration: Vintage Baby's Bassinette Clipart

This vintage illustration of a baby's wicker bassinette would be perfect for decorating baby shower gifts, baby gift tags, greeting cards, or birth announcements. One idea for creating and using this digital image would be printing it out and coloring it with art chalks or colored pencils. I do this a lot, and it's so much fun customizing the illustrations this way.

And, wouldn't his bassinette illustration would make a wonderful and adorable combination with this vintage, baby clip art for a baby-themed project. Enjoy!

Here's a nice vintage graphic of a horse and wagon. What's especially fun about this piece of clipart is that you can customize it by adding words to the side panels. Originally, the side of the wagon sported the logo of a company, but I edited those out, giving you the choice to customize it for your purposes. Enjoy!

It seems I'm always making baby shower gifts and children's birthday gifts for family, friends, and coworkers. And, since I've got a nephew under a year old, I'm constantly working with baby clip art, making gifts, gift tags, hang tags, and scrapbooking elements. Therefore, I'm on the constant look out for antique and Victorian ephemera of babies and mothers.

I've posted a cute image of a mother and her baby I found in an old catalog. As well as the black and white illustration, I've provided two colorized versions: one for a girl in pink, and one for a boy in blue. This antique image particularly would make a cute decoration on a gift tag. Enjoy!

I used to run another clip art site called, The Antique Image, which some of you may know and hopefully enjoyed. Unfortunately, I let that site go a while back at the same time I went AWOL from Antique Images, finally deciding to delete the blog entirely. I just couldn't let those images go with contintuing to inspire all of you, so from time to time I'll be posting those images here at Antique Images for you to enjoy for the first time or all over again.

Here are a few romanic images that work so very well for Valentine's Day. These beautiful pieces of Valentine clipart are from a 1917 Italian Perfume Advertising Book that I found in an antique shop. Valentine's Day Clip Art Antique Postcard of Sailor and His Faithful Love

This is a beautiful image from an antique French postcard that I think works well for Valentine's Day projects. I know very little French, so I can't translate the phrase perfectly. My apologies for that. But, if you understand French, I'd love for you to leave the translation in the comments below. However, from what I understand, the woman is letting her Alsatian sailor know that he can always count on her having faith in his success. Now, isn't that romantic? It's a WWI, patriotic postcard, but the sentiment is loving, and I think that the image says it all. Enjoy!
