Today I've posted two, very interesting antique illustrations of barrel images. I found these antique advertisement paper scraps in a Victorian scrapbook. Since each of these images are of barrels, I thought they'd be great in a post together. The first digital barrel image is of an advertisement for a health product. The wooden barrel has been made into a baby cradle. Cute! The second digital barrel image is of a cider barrel; however, it's empty, which implies that the establishment carrying this ad didn't sell cider.

The holiday season is soon approaching, which means that lots of kitchens will be filled with the delicious smells of baking goodies. Today I've posted digital baking clip art of three antique food extract bottles. The detailed, antique illustrations of these bottles are fabulous! And, I love that they are corked bottles, which makes them so charming. The extract bottle labels are wonderfully detailed and elaborately designed. Free Antique Botanical Illustration: Digital Flower Clip Art Wildflower Buxbaum's Speedwell

This is a beautiful piece of digital flower clip art. I created this wildflower graphic from an antique botanical illustration in a wildflower book. This is the wildflower, Buxbaum's Speedwell. The dainty blue flower is so pretty. I've given you both the .jpg and .png files of this digital flower clip art. I've posted another digital wildflower graphic here and here. I hope you enjoy!

Baby Clip Art: Antique Illustration of Mother and Baby Pink and Blue

It seems I'm always making baby shower gifts and children's birthday gifts for family, friends, and coworkers. And, since I've got a nephew under a year old, I'm constantly working with baby clip art, making gifts, gift tags, hang tags, and scrapbooking elements. Therefore, I'm on the constant look out for antique and Victorian ephemera of babies and mothers.

I've posted a cute image of a mother and her baby I found in an old catalog. As well as the black and white illustration, I've provided two colorized versions: one for a girl in pink, and one for a boy in blue. This antique image particularly would make a cute decoration on a gift tag. Enjoy!

These are two black and white illustrations that I scanned from a Victorian book on etiquette. The designs are very pretty and can be used to make unique hang tags. What I've often done to antique images such as these is colorize them, and then print them out on heavy card stock and make hang tags. I think an antique or vintage design is so appealing and adds interest to any project.
