Victorian Die Cut: Vintage Graphic of Victorian Scrap Card Illustrating Saturday Chore

This is a cute, vintage Victorian scrap card illustrating the chore of baking that was done on Saturdays. Perhaps that''s when the bulk of the baking was done because I'm sure they baked everyday considering they couldn't keep food fresh for long like we can today. This die cut comes from my 1879 Victorian scrapbook. I wish I had the complete set, but unfortunately this was the only card. Enjoy!

2 Vintage Victorian Die Cuts: Mirror and Fan Clip Art from Vintage Die Cuts

These two pretty pieces of clip art are from very tiny Victorian die cuts. I am amazed at the decent quality I was able to achieve considering how small they actually are. They're each roughly the size of a quarter. My Victorian scrapbook is full of these little darlings, so I hope to be bringing you many more in the future. Vintage Victorian Die Cut: Vintage Graphic of Dog Great Dane from Victorian Scrapbook

Here's a great bit of dog clip art! Great Dane to be specific! This lovely animal graphic comes from a Victorian die cut. And, thankfully, it's in marvelous condition. Interestingly, many breeds of dogs look very different than they did decades, even 100 years ago. At first glance I wouldn't have thought this to be a Great Dane, but it's amazing how many breeds have indeed evolved over the years. I hope you enjoy!

These are beautiful Victorian die cuts of white doves delivering flowers and a note. To me, the images are romantic; perhaps some lucky woman is receiving a message of love from her beloved. I could just image these pieces of bird clip art on the front of a wedding invitation. How perfect!

I love Victorian Scrapbooks and die cuts, but I hate trying to get those little beauties off the pages! Most of the time I have to leave them where they lest I ruin them and instead work around the large pages while I transfer them into digital images on my scanner. It's tough work, but I'd hate to destroy any of these wonderful treasures if they simply won't come off the page. Thankfully, this die cut of a cute cat came off with no problem.
