This beautiful, serene image of a pond with lovely flowers is from a vintage poetry book. I've been posting several images from this same book, and the Forget-Me-Not Flowers have all been spectacular; however, I'm not quite sure that these flowers grow in ponds. Regardless, this is still a gorgeous flower graphic.

Even though it's a little worse for wear, this little, antique Victorian Valentine scrap card is lovely and so pretty. It wasn't so easy to scan into my computer because these Valentine scraps are multi-layered, usually created with four or five layers of paper. And, this creates an absolutely gorgeous frame! In the center of these beautiful scraps is another image of some sort; however, this tattered, distressed scrap lost it's image long, long ago. This is the last animal chromolithograph illustration I have from an antique 1885 natural history book. The Victorians took a true interest in natural history, but their representations and illustrations of animals verged on the wild and fantastic some of the time. No doubt a Rhinoceros can be dangerous; however, this charging Rhino seems a bit more menacing than it would naturally as it bares its teeth. Enjoy!

As I was playing with the image in my photo editing software, I just fell in love with this color! The Forget-Me-Not Flowers still remain purple-blue, which I think is wonderful.
