This is a beautiful antique, 1885 illustration of Red Deer. I love how the stately male, the female, and the baby of this deer are shown, even though the doe is mostly hidden behind the male. The color are deep and rich, and this would look amazing framed in dark wood. I posted another animal illustration of tigers from the same natural history book here. Enjoy!
