This lovely Victorian shoe image is from an advertising card for Kat's Shoes. The soft-pink roses and the light-blue background are so pretty. But, that shoe is adorable! It looks as if it ties with a ribbon, like a ballet shoe. How pretty is that? This bit of advertising would definitely make me a customer! ;-) Enjoy!

Vintage Dog Clip Art: Victorian Die Cut of St. Bernard Dog

Does this look like a St. Bernard to you?! Well, at first, it didn't look like one to me, but it is that breed of dog. Decades ago, dog breeds looked very different than they do today. Back in the mid Victorian Era, approximately the 1870's, this is what a St. Bernard looked like. This is a beautiful piece of dog clip art that I hope finds a place in your wonderful projects. Victorian Die Cut: Vintage Graphic of Victorian Scrap Card Illustrating Saturday Chore

This is a cute, vintage Victorian scrap card illustrating the chore of baking that was done on Saturdays. Perhaps that''s when the bulk of the baking was done because I'm sure they baked everyday considering they couldn't keep food fresh for long like we can today. This die cut comes from my 1879 Victorian scrapbook. I wish I had the complete set, but unfortunately this was the only card. Enjoy!

These two black and white illustrations of candlesticks are from a vintage 1916 Montgomery Wards Catalog.

I hope you enjoy the little mirror and fan images!

Vintage Edwardian Clip Art of Woman: Vintage Postcard with Woman's Grecian Hairstyle and Stamp

Yes, I'm very happy that warmer, sunnier weather is on its way. I hope you enjoy!

Vintage Black and White Illustration: Clip Art of 2 Children Playing in the Snow

We got a bit of snow yesterday, which isn't unusual for March where I live. This is Winter's last hoorah, I hope. So, here's a vintage black and white illustration from a Victorian storybook of two children playing in the snow, making snowballs, to commemorate the chilly conditions. Enjoy!

Black and White Illustration: Insect Clip Art from Victorian Storybook

Spring and summer are fast approaching, so I thought I'd post this adorable black and white illustration showing a boy out catching insects. I remember doing that with my brother and friends when we were children. However, I always let my bugs go because I felt so bad for them scurrying around in those jars, banging against the glass, not able to go anywhere. This would be lovely as a scrapbooking element, celebrating the fun outdoors. Enjoy!

2 Flower Digital Label Designs: Vintage Victorian Die Cuts of Flower Labels

These flower label designs are so pretty! They were rescued from a Victorian scrapbook and could live again as beautiful labels for envelopes, or as seating place cards, or just as gift labels. Unfortunately, the second die cut had a corner that I couldn't unfold without damaging the poor thing, so I just left it as is. Actually, I don't think it hurts it at all ;-) I hope you enjoy them!

These are two pages from a vintage book on designing cards for advertising. The black and white illustrations are really pretty and eye-catching.
