The rippling flag fabric and the fluttering, gold tassles show that this flag is being flown high. The bright colors, red, white, and blue, are also glorious. The golden eagle figure on top of the flag post just makes it perfect. For any patriotic holiday, this American flag is beautifully fantastic.

These are two pages from an antique encyclopedia of charts showing the various flags from around the world. The encyclopedia was published in 1889, so a couple of these flags are very different now.
