These vintage lion downloads are beautiful! I created today's digital animal clipart from artwork found in a Late Victorian children's picture book. The first digital lion image is of a male lion next to a river. The second lion image is of a lioness and her cubs. The colors of the animal illustrations are deep and gorgeous, which is why I was inspired to create a color palette chart. Enjoy!

These are three, amazingly gorgeous digital circus animals downloads I created from antique, Victorian die cuts. The antique illustrations of the leopard, lion, and tiger are so beautiful in their distressed condition. The lion illustration needed lots of digital enhancement because its tail had been severely damaged over time. Despite the much shorter tail, the lion still looks gloriously grand. These digital circus animal images are perfect as design elements for a zoo scrapbooking project.

Free Animal Clip Art: Digital Graphic of Lion and Two Cubs Playing with Frog

How cute is this antique graphic of a lion with two, playing cubs. Play hunting, one of the little cubs plays with a green frog. The scene is very peaceful and idyllic, and I've not seen another one like this in any of my other scrapbooks. However, these are powerful hunters. You'll notice what looks like part of a backbone from an animal inbetween the lion's paws. Gotta keep it all in perspective, ya know. This is a pretty Victorian scrap from one of my antique scrapbooks. I've given you both the .jpg and .png files of this lion graphic. I've posted more lion clip art here. I hope you enjoy!

Animal Graphic: Vintage Lion Clip Art on Victorian Scrap Card

What I love most about this piece of animal clip art are the colors. The teals, aquas, and peaches together are so lovely. But, of course, the majestic lion is spectacular! This was an interesting little piece of ephemera, a Victorian scrap card, I found tucked away in an old book. I think it must have been used as a bookmark. I hope you enjoy!
