I wonder what the juicy gossip is! This piece of flower clip art is from a vintage, humorous book on flowers.
This is a cute vintage purse graphic from a 1915 Montgomery Wards catalog. I love the design of the pleats. And, of course, I can never decide on any one color, so I've given you several colorized version to play with. I hope you enjoy!

These two antique Victorian photos are from a very small antique photo album from the 1870's. I found it in an antique shop, and it was a real find. Although the thick album was falling apart, it was still very pretty. I eventually used the cover of the album as the central element in a collage. Enjoy!

This bird clip art made me laugh. Having once owned an African Grey Parrot, as well as a couple of Lutino Cockatiels, the nibbled chair in the illustration is something I can frustratingly understand. This illustration of a parrot is from a vintage natural history book.

These pretty images are from an 1883 antique almanack. The tiny book measures only 2 1/2 X 3 inches, and it is beautifully illustrated. It is rather worse for wear, and even inside the book the pages are incredibly difficult to enhance on my computer; however the images are still delightful and would add something special to any project. Enjoy!
Map images make great digital backgrounds. These two pieces of map clip art are from a vintage world atlas and gazetteer. I've enhanced these two images, adding textures, which I love! I hope you enjoy!

This digital collage sheet full of cute vintage baby carriages was made from black and white illustrations found in a vintage Montgomery Wards Catalog. Aren't they stylish and ornate?! What fun it would be to stroll down the street with one of these!

This is the final page from my vintage ABC book, featuring letters, Y and Z. I hope you've enjoyed all six pages and have been inspired to create something cute. These images are absolutely spectacular, and I've loved sharing them with you. Have fun!
This fifth page of my vintage ABC book, featuring letters, S, T, U, V, W, an X, is most stunning because the contract of the two dominant colors, red and aqua-blue, stand out more than any of the other pages. Plus, I think the references to what the letters stand for are so fanciful. Of course children today wouldn't know some of the references, but what a wonderful way to learn something new. It's very quaint, and I love it. I hope you enjoy!

Wow! Eight letters are packed onto this one page! Isn't this pretty? When I've used the vintage images of this book before, I've usually used either a red or an aqua-blue border since those two colors are dominant throughout the book. It always looks wonderful. Enjoy!
This is the third page from my vintage ABC book, featuring letters, G, H, I, and J. The pages are so interesting because there's so much to see. There's so much going on! Enjoy!

This is the second, colorfully illustrated page from my vintage ABC book, featuring letters, C, D, E, and F. These pages are just gorgeous, and I love using the digital images of them for baby-themed projects. One project I did shortly after I purchased the vintage book was print out all six illustrated pages and framed them as a gift for a friend to hang in her baby's room. I hope you enjoy!
This image is from one of the most beautiful vintage ABC books I've ever seen. I purchased this vintage book years ago and have used the digital image I made from it many times, decorating baby shower gifts, gift tags, greeting cards, and many more projects for baby-themed creations. Over the next three days I'll be posting all six gorgeous pages of the book that are wonderfully illustrated with deep, vibrant colors. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years!

The weather's getting warmer, the sun is shining, and the days are getting longer. Yes, spring is in the air! I love this time of year when I get to be out more in nature. Today's post is a very pretty piece of spring clip art. It's from an antique almanac book full of adorable little graphics. This one, of course, celebrates spring. I hope you enjoy!

This is an interesting piece of frame clip art from a vintage book on graphic design. This is a perfect digital background for digital clip art and lettering for so many projects. It's looks as if it carved marble, and it's very pretty. Enjoy!

Pears are my favorite fruit, and this vintage piece of pear clip art has me craving one! The colors are brilliantly gorgeous! Bartlett Pears are what I eat most often, but I've never heard of the other two varieties: Clapp's Favorite and Kieffer. I wonder if they're still grown? I hope you enjoy!
These are two very pretty vintage graphic designs from an old Victorian book. These intricate corner decorations would be lovely for any paper project you may have in mind, especially for a gift or hand tag. Enjoy!

I love the distressed look of Victorian storybook covers and backs, and this one is adorable. The children playing tea party would make a wonderful gift tag for a children's party gift or as a decoration for a child's party. I hope you enjoy!
This is one of my ultimate favorite pieces of antique flower clip art. This lovely rose image is from an antique painting instruction book. The yellow rose is an example of what your finished painting should look like if you painted the available page in the book. Enjoy!

This is an incredibly beautiful vintage postcard. It's one of my favorites! And, I especially like that the stamp isn't interfering with the image of the pretty woman. I know you'll enjoy this one!

O.K. I went a little overboard in colorizing today's image, but I just love it! This pretty graphic design is from a vintage natural history book. This black and white frame is so beautiful, and would be lovely on an invitation or note card. Enjoy!
