I love vintage animal illustrations. I have two huge natural history books from the late Victorian Era, and they're full of illustrations. This is a graphic illustration of Kiwis. They're quite detailed, and I love using them for so many projects. I hope you enjoy!

How sumptuous this curtain looks. I can image it in a deep, dark, rich color such as emerald, red, or navy blue. I'm sure a house with curtains such as these would also not have a cat living in it. These vintage digital labels would be so cute for your recipes! These are from a 1917 Gold Medal Flour Cookbook and are the headings for the soup and shell fish sections. They're a little faded and distressed, but that just add to their charm. Enjoy!

This is one of my ultimate favorite Victorian advertising cards that comes from my 1879 scrapbook. Entitled, "Our Boy", it advertises Scott's Emulsion. Actually, I have several Victorian advertising cards for Scott's Emulsion, but this is perhaps their finest. I hope you enjoy!
What an idyllic scene. Now that summer is finally here with its beautiful weather, outdoor activities are on the agenda. Yes, lazily drifting down a river, soaking in nature, listening to live music, is a great way to spend a summer afternoon. I originally bought these from an antique store because of the photos inside and for future paper scrapbooking projects. Isn't this beautiful? This vintage image is from a book on flowers. Primroses are the theme of this image; however, I believe that the forest, the babbling brook, and the slowly deteriorating fence make this a naturally gorgeous graphic. I hope you enjoy!
