Vintage Children's Book Illustration: Page From Vintage ABC Book S, T, U, V, W, and X

This fifth page of my vintage ABC book, featuring letters, S, T, U, V, W, an X, is most stunning because the contract of the two dominant colors, red and aqua-blue, stand out more than any of the other pages. Plus, I think the references to what the letters stand for are so fanciful. Of course children today wouldn't know some of the references, but what a wonderful way to learn something new. It's very quaint, and I love it. I hope you enjoy!
